Prosthodontics

Dentures artificially replace your natural teeth and gums. If due to an accident, illness or poor oral hygiene, you have lost part or all of your teeth, your dentist may recommend that prostheses replace your missing teeth.

There are 2 types of dentures: partial dentures and complete dentures. In both cases, your denturist makes a model of your teeth from impressions, to then make your custom prostheses.

Traitement 5.1 - Prendre soins de ses prothèses

Denture Home Care

Complete and partial dentures should be cleaned every day just like natural teeth.

Traitement 5.2 - Prothèse complète

Full Denture

The complete prosthesis or commonly called denture is used when there are no more natural teeth. It is removable and is held in place by suction.

Traitement 5.3 - Prothèse partielle

Partial Denture

Partial dentures can be used when neighboring teeth are not strong enough to support a bridge or if several teeth are missing.

Traitement 5.4 - Prothèse sur implants

Implant-Supported Prosthesis

The removable prosthesis on dental implants is a permanent solution to tooth loss.
