Since June 2025, the Ordre des dentistes du Québec (ODQ) has officially authorized appropriately trained dentists to administer neuromodulators (botulinum toxin type A) for therapeutic and cosmetic purposes as part of their professional scope of practice.
At Chez Soie Dentisterie, this authorization represents a carefully considered expansion of our services. Neuromodulator injections may help soften expression lines while also offering targeted therapeutic benefits, including the reduction of muscle tension, relief associated with bruxism, improved temporomandibular joint comfort, and, in certain cases, the treatment of migraines.
